He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Victoria Kochanowski, Sr. (Macko); his wife Helen Kochanowski (Cup); and his siblings, Joseph, John Jr., Walter, Edward, William, Henry, Andrew Kochanowski, Sophie Wirgnoivcz and Helen Gyenes.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Hemlick (Mark) of Lancaster, PA, Mary Dragosz (Zenon) of Virginia and Gregory Kochanowski (Catherine Nace) of Saltsburg, PA; his granddaughters, Natalie and Gabrielle Hemlick; and his sister Virginia Gyenes of Clarksburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many extended family.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Saltsburg.
