It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Cartwright (Sandy Ridge, Pennsylvania), born in West Decatur, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 13, 2013, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Kanouff and Vanetta Kanouff (Cathcart); her husband Ralph H. Cartwright; and her siblings, Mae Jackson, Adah Murphy, Shirley Beck, James "Jink" Kanouff, Cecil Kanouff and Edward Kanouff.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Lou Kephart (Richard) of Sandy Ridge, PA, Bonnie Lee Johnson (Harry) of Sandy Ridge, PA and Ralph E. Cartwright (Joanne) of Sandy Ridge, PA.; her grandchildren, Rick Kephart, Shelly Reese, Laura Shoff, Trevor Johnson, Scott Kephart, Thad Johnson and Megan Dunn; and her great grandchildren, Katie Reese, Shane Kephart, Kyle Reese, Haydn Kephart, Emily Shoff and Evan Shoff. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
