We bid farewell to Joe H. Van Uiter of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Joe touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Uiter and Carlotta Van Uiter (Ortiz); and his brother Daniel Van Uiter. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Van Uiter (Veltri) of Saylorsburg, PA; his children, Stephanie Oehm (William) of Milford, PA and Michael Van Uiter (Bernardine) of Saylorsburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Daniel Oehm, Diana Lagakos (John) and Michael Van Uiter; and his great grandchildren, Thomas, Adeline, Margaret, Ava, Audrianna, Nicholas, Andrew, Penelope and Emelia.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (1426 US-209, Gilbert, PA 18331). A prayer was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory (1426 US-209, Gilbert, PA 18331). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1402 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322).
