It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chester R. VanDuzer Jr. of Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his son Charlie; his brother Leroy; his parents-in-law, Dorothy Leonard and George Mason; and his sister-in-law Joan Halstead.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia VanDuzer (Mason); his daughter Kimberly; his son-in-law Charles Mathews, Jr.; his son Chester; his daughter-in-law Cynthia VanDuzer III; his grandchildren, Samantha Hoyt (Austin), Charles Mathews (Autumn), Mercedes Mathews, Dalton Mathews, Cody Mathews, Betheny VanDuzer, Bryce Mathews, Hunter Mathews, Sage DeHaas and Eric VanDuzer; and his great grandchildren, Brantley, Gunnar and Winston Mathews. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“Dear VanDuzer Family, I am very sorry for your loss. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is very difficult to deal with. I hope your family is surrounded by love during this time. During this difficult time, a strong hope in God’s promises will help you to endure.
