He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Harley Foster and Elizabeth Teribury Foster; his wife Tina Hautala; his children, Lynn Earley (Donald), Danny Foster and Ella Paynter (Erik); his grandchildren, Aaron Shamus, Spencer Shamus and Kian Paynter; his stepgrandchildren, Thomas Earley, Matthew Earley and Hannah Earley; his siblings, Janette Newman, Rodney Foster (Ellen), Gloria Aagard (Otto), Jacqueline Foster (Carol), Gordon Foster (Rose), Bradley Foster (Helen), Donna Heidl (Harry), Bonnie Marsh, Stanley Foster (Pansy), Vicki Lyon (Frank), Cheryl Karius and Leland Foster; and his brother-in-law Karl Newman.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Candor Congregational Church (134 Main St, Candor, NY 13743).
