He was predeceased by: his parents, John Garfield Rhodes and Marian Betz Rhodes; his grandson Nate Williams; and his brother Jack Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Rhodes; his children, Janet Hughes (Charles) of Sayre, Richard Rhodes Jr. (Mary) of Sayre, Shirley Williams of Athens and Amy Krasinski (Tony) of Erie, PA; and his brother Donald Rhodes. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins.
