It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann M. Mahalidge (Scranton, Pennsylvania), born in Jessup, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Umberto Alunni and Lucia Mancini Alunni; her son Joseph Mahalidge III; and her siblings, Henry, Roland Alunni and Mary Fagnani.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Tomassoni (Dave), Robert Mahalidge (Christine) and Edward Mahalidge (Lee Ann); her brother Raymond Alunni (Louise); her daughter-in-law Patty Mahalidge; her grandchildren, Mia, Eva Tomassoni, Denise Derricks (Matt), Alexa Mahalidge (Larry Gilman) and Celina Mahalidge; her great grandchildren, Lucas and Austin Derricks; and her stepgrandchildren, Ryan and Kevin Farrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic and concern for community health, the funeral will be private.
