It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benedict Colarossi (Scranton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Colarossi and Angelina Sacco Colarossi; and his siblings, Angelo, Joseph, Nicholas, Pete, Felix, Frank, John, Mary Van Wert, Florence Colarossi and Eleanor Evans.

He is survived by: his children, Paul, Maria McCool and Mark (Beth); and his grandchildren, Angela McCool and Brian McCool. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen 500 Penn Ave. Scranton, PA 18503.
