It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecelia Meyers of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry H. "Hank" Meyers; her sister Jane Foley; and her siblings-in-law, Rosemary, Dorothy and Peter Duke.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Horrocks, Walter Vancosky, Jr. and Theodore Vancosky; her grandchildren, Jason Shehadi, Joshua Horrocks, Lillian, Laura Vancosky of Raleigh, NC and Tyler Vancosky; her great grandchild Casey Michaely; her great great grandchildren, Ayva, Eva and Eli; her siblings, Dreaddy of Newfoundland, Canada, Mike (Mollie) of Newfoundland, Canada, James of Newfoundland, Canada, Richard of Newfoundland, Canada, Harold (Nancy) of Newfoundland, Canada, John of Newfoundland, Canada, Joe (Christine) of Newfoundland, Canada, Frances Duke, Mary Parsons (Con), Veronica Healey (Patrick), Madonna Collins (Ken) of Newfoundland, Canada and Regina Kelley (Brian) of Ontario, Canada; and her brother-in-law Terry Foley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
