He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean R. Skaluba (DeMuth); his parents, John Skaluba and Catherine Skaluba (Oliva); his siblings, Fred, Robert, Ceil, Elizabeth, Helen and Louise; and his brother-in-law Msgr.

He is survived by: his children, John F. (Roseanne) of Dickson City, Curt (Kathy) of Easton, George Skaluba (Pamela) of Manassas, VA and Atty; and his sister-in-law Marion Kelly.
