He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Vail and John James Kauffman; his son Jason David Kauffman; and his grandmother Muriel Kutniewski. He is survived by: his siblings, James Kauffman (Ohio), Daniel Kauffman (Susan) of Scranton, Kimberly Kauffman Brown (Colorado), Abbe Kauffman Kovacik (New York), Amy Kauffman Kloss and Laura Kauffman Decker; and his wife Cynthia Hamm. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great-grandson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
