She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Thomas and Ivy Aldridge Thomas; her husband Thomas E. Young, Jr.; her son Michael Stephen Young; her siblings, James S. Thomas, Alton Russell Thomas, Billy Fred Thomas and Catherine Elizabeth Thomas; and her sisters-in-law, Christel Thomas of Pangburn, AR and Bessie Thomas of Natchez.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Harrison (Kenneth) of Dalton, PA, Thomas E. Young III (Kathy) of Natchez and Robert Young (Jerilyn) of Pangburn, AR; her grandchildren, Kris Fendrock (Joe) of Waverly, PA and Dean Harrison of Hollywood, CA; and her great grandchildren, Victoria Fendrock, Michael Fendrock and Matthew Fendrock of Waverly, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
