He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Kalpin and Augusta Kalpin of Bell Mountain; his wife Thelma Calpin (Hall); and his siblings, Walter, Otto, Henry, Beatrice Hoff, Elsie Black, Lydia Sanderson, Esther Naughton, Edith Colovos, Fredrick, Edwin, Harold, Adeline and Alfred.
He is survived by: his children, William (Monica), James (Sharon) and Susan Brady (James). He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
