With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria J. Tighe of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 27, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wheeler and Jean Weatherhog Wheeler; her daughter Betty Jean Hannon; her brother John Wheeler; and her brother-in-law Anthony "Zar" Rinaldi.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Tighe; her children, Jean Heil (Bob), Rose Hannon (Mike Ceccoli) of Las Vegas, NV and Patrick Hannon (Elizabeth Jones); and her siblings, Lucille Frable (Wesley), Thelma Rinaldi, Betty Jean Fisher, Ruth Ann Gingerlowski (Leo), Lena Wheeler, Stephen Wheeler, Robert Wheeler (Debra Trowbridge), Taylor, Carl Wheeler and Mayfield. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
