With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Palmer Eckersley in Scranton, Pennsylvania, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on December 14, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert N. Eckersley; her parents, Frank Palmer and Gladys Thompson Palmer; her brothers, Frank Palmer, Thomas Palmer, James Wedeman and Steuart J. Bailey; her daughter-in-law Judith Walsh Eckersley; and her grandson Jason S. Eckersley.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce, P. A. (Linda Eckersley), Richard Laurence Eckersley and Tari Louise Malkasian (Michael); and her siblings, Jeanne Mays and John Palmer. She is also survived by grandchildren; (14) great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
