It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen V. Petukauskas Kopack of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; her parents, George Petukauskas and Agatha Kudirka Petukauskas; and her siblings, Sophie Anderson, Lucielle Batchman, Agnes Samulaitis, William Sommers and Edward Samulaitis.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah, Christopher and Allan (Karen); and her grandchildren, Ian, Kacey, David and Danny.
Incredibly proud of her Lithuanian heritage, a student of its culture and history, she was recognized by the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture, Chicago for her meticulous contributions to its library.
