Herman Schirg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Schirg (Scranton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 2, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schirg and Florence Schirg (Nicholas); and his sister Mildred Rathbone. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Ann Schirg (Carden); his children, Lisa Lannan (Kevin), Laura Fluhr (George), Herman Schirg of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Schirg (Dianna Giannavola); his grandchildren, Jordan Lannan, Makayla Fluhr, Herman John and Lydia Schirg; and his sisters, Marlene Hughes and Carol Granahan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions and the health of our family and friends, a small private service was held in the Miller-Bean Funeral Inc., 436 Cedar Ave. Scranton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Poor 2300 Adams Avenue.
