He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Pachter and Bertha Pachter; and his siblings, Saul Pachter and Joan Pachter. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Rosenstein; his children, Iris Simon (Joshua) and Alvin; his grandchildren, Madelyn and Ethan Simon; and his brother Arthur Pachter (Lee). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, a private Shiva will be observed.
