He was predeceased by: his father Edward Langan of Scranton; his grandson Lucas Robert Wheelis; and also Edward William Langan Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Stella Langan; his children, Amanda Langan (Michael Baldonado), Stephanie Wheelis (Jeremy), James Langan (Jena) and Georgia; his grandchildren, Aiden, Mason Langan, Hayley and Logan Wheelis; his siblings, Ann Christine Fanning (Bernard), Mary Allison Welling (David), Edward William III (Claire), Michael John, Mark Alexander (Joan) and Edward Andrew; and his friend Robert Jazikoff Jr..
