It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Solimine of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Brownell and Gladys Bray Brownell; her sisters, Nancy Brownell and Catherine Poltanis; and her brother-in-law Louis Poltanis.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Nina and Janet "Nina"; her children, Nancy Melliand (Robert), Jeff Solimine (Sharon) and Debbie Marichak (Joseph); and her grandchildren, Jack Knott, Rebecca Melliand, Jeffrey Solimine, Jordyn and Jaclyn Marichak. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
All those attending the service are kindly and respectfully asked to social distance and are required to wear a mask.
