He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Brown; his parents, Jacob Stasuckevitz and Sophia Stasuckevitz (Saviski); and his brother Edward Stasuckevitz. He is survived by: his son John J. Kevitz Jr. (Davone) of Scranton; his sister Sophie Stasuckevitz of Scranton; and his brother-in-law Robert E. Brown of Scranton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
