He was predeceased by: his parents, John Urban and Sophie Klepadio Urban. He is survived by: his brother Ronald (Marietta); his niece Lisa Urban; his nephew Ronald Urban Jr.; his daughter Jackie Bonitz; his grandchildren, Karissa and Jonathan Edwards; his great-nieces, Kaitlyn Shoemaker and Sarah Urban; and his nieces, Bonnie and Marilee.
