He was predeceased by: his parents, William Evans and Myrtle Davis Evans; and his siblings, Joan Jones, Billy and Jack Evans.

He is survived by: his daughter Julie Hunter (Scott); his grandchildren, Fione, Kate Evans, Cole and Noelle Hunter; and his sister Jean Cibik of Scranton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
