It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Elizabeth Summerhill Sexton Hughes (Scranton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Summerhill and Elsie Barneko Summerhill. She is survived by: her husband Allen Sexton Jr.; her children, Bill Sexton (Julie Elliott) and Beth Sexton Wolff (Thomas); her grandchildren, Megan Wolff Galko (Vincent), Daniel Wolff (Jennifer Volpe), Ethan Sexton (Courtney Baird) and Cole Sexton; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Anastasia, Zoe, Sophia, Gabrielle Galko, Scarlet, Guinevere, Cordelia, Tristan Wolff and Lincoln Sexton; her stepchildren, Gary Hughes (Linda O'Connor) and Donna Hughes McDonald; her stepgrandchildren, Jenna, Connor, Griffen Hughes and Brian McDonald; her siblings-in-law, Maryellen Burnside Sexton and John Sexton; her friend Lois Lowry Kretsch; and her close friend Marian George. She is also survived by niece, nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted privately due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
