It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Ann Chambers (Scranton, Pennsylvania), born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 13, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank and Ann DeMartino (Richards) of Green Ridge; her husband Dr. Erwin R. Chambers; her daughters, Karen Torres (Raymond), Susan Fowler (Douglas Mitchell), Cecelia Boniewicz of Torrington, Conn. and Julie Cross (Joseph); her grandchildren, Kate Blake (Melbourne), Liz Boniewicz of Torrington, Conn., Jessica Torres, Jack Szabo of Southbury, Conn. and Vincent Cross (Ind); her siblings, Elizabeth Schofield (John), Frances Warne (William), Alfred DeMartino (Marjorie) and Frank DeMartino (Peggy); and her friend Judy Sirois (David). She was also cherished by cousins and nieces and nephews.
Due to current COVID-19 gathering restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marlene's name to the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania.
