She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" R. Pesavento; and her parents, Eileen McHugh and William Naegeli. She is survived by: her stepmother Kathleen Naegeli; her children, Mary Icker (Kevin), John E. (Sandy), Paul (Michele Feisal), Ann DiFiore (Felix) and James (Susan); her grandchildren, Amanda McGowan (Ryan), Jennifer Kapp (Brian), Lauren Murray (Ryan), Jackie, Anthony, Danielle, Mia, Will, John, Lexi Pesavento, Kevin (Lindsey), Rebecca Icker, Nicholas and Phillip DiFiore; her great grandchildren, Emily, Lucy, Maddie McGowan, Grace, Alice, Harrison Kapp, Silas, Bailey Murray and Maisey Icker; and her siblings, Kenneth Naegeli (Margie) and Kay Cardamone (Jack). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In 2012, Maureen was inducted to the Order of Malta, an organization devoted to the exercise of Christian virtue and charity by expending their energies serving the poor and the sick.
