He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Melnick and Sue Tayoun Melnick; his brother Peter Melnick; and his nephew William Kramer. He is survived by: his wife Lois Gscheidle; his children, Linda Krehel, Michael (Janine), Robert and Tim (Krissy); his sister Cynthia Kramer (Bill); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexandra Krehel, Janel, Stephanie, Meghan, Jack, Amelia and Matthew Melnick. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
