With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael N. Fata of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 19, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Fata and Carmella Cimino Fata Bonacci; and his brothers, Nick, Joseph and Frank.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Esposito Fata; his son Michael Fata Jr. (Erin Fata); his granddaughters, Katterli and Tealin Fata; his sister Rose Fata Azzarelli (Frank); and his sister-in-law Angela Esposito Lynch (Tom Lynch). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations are being accepted in memory of Michael.
