She was predeceased by: her parents, Bithel Fleming and Josephine Nelson Fleming; her husband Howard Sr.; and her siblings, Robert Fleming, Mack E. Fleming and Virginia Dare Sklavos.
She is survived by: her son Howard L. Hintermeister Jr. of Alameda; her granddaughter Dana Hintermeister Hedlund (David); her great grandchild Nathan Howard Hedlund of Kirkland, WA; her sister Irma Fleming Greytak of Greenville, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Yvonne Fleming Brown, Michael, James Sheerin, Frederick, Thomas, John Hintermeister and Sally Severy.
