He is survived by: his wife Angeline Scalese Mackarey; his parent Montura Mowad Mackarey; his children, Judi Mackarey (David Madison), Paul Mackarey (Esther), David Mackarey (Betsy) and Boynton Beach; his grandchildren, Paul, Nicole, John and Madalyn; and also Philadelphia.
