We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Peter C. Povanda of Scranton, Pennsylvania, born in Peckville, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Povanda and Pauline Vervan Povanda; and his sister Paula. He is survived by: his son Matthew; and his siblings, John (Emma) of Hermitage, PA, Dr. Paul (Roseann) of Horseheads, NY, Andrea Warholic (Robbie) and Ann Brojack (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family asks that anyone attending the funeral mass wear masks.

Memorial contributions may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.
