He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Nagy (Bienick); his parents, John Nagy and Ethel Nagy (Demyen); and his siblings, Edward and Delores.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Nagy (Jim Peters) and Robert Nagy Jr. (Lisa Smith); and his sister Barbara Recicar (Jack Recicar). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the junior golf scholarship program of the Anthracite Golf Association.
