She is survived by: her children, Eric Durst, Sean Durst (Melissa) and Shannon Durst; her stepchildren, John Bolchune and Amanda Rodriguez (Jordan); and her brother Samuel Moss (Lucy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

“So very sorry to Ruth's family. She was a good woman. She always made me laugh. We had good times at her house and my friend Helen Ann's house. We drank coffee and tea, played cards and complained about life together. So sad. She died so young. She took care of family and friends when they had troubles. God Bless you Ruth. You will be greatly missed. Love Edie and Butch Watson. Fly high my friend and watch over your loved ones from Heaven.”
