It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Vitris Jr. of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 4, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Jacqueline Terruso Vitris; his father-in-law Don Lowry; and his brother-in-law Donny Lowry. He is survived by: his wife Judy Lowry; his father Samuel F. Vitris, Sr.; his children, Samuel F. Vitris, III (Taryn), Sabrina Santucci (Chris) and Shalane Vitris; his brother Joseph Vitris; his grandchildren, Brett, Brennan and Brynlee; his mother-in-law Barbara Lowry; and his cousin Union. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Those attending both the viewing and the mass are kindly and respectfully asked to socially distance without making direct contact with the family and are required to wear a mask.
