He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anna Boos, Calogero (Sonny) and Angelo. He is survived by: his sister Catherine Cometa; his wife Josephine (Babe); his children, Cindy Hoban (Frank) of Dunmore, Cathy Conway (David) of Scranton, Anne Bray (Donald) of Mount Cobb and Thomas J. Cometa (Wendy); and his grandchildren, David Conway (Alicia Slivinski), Colin Conway, Christina Smolley (Stephen), Frank Hoban (Arvin Alvia), Matthew Hoban, Amanda, Gianna Bray, Julia and Merek Cometa.
Friends and family may pay their respects Thursday from 4-7 pm in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tom to the Jewish Home of Eastern PA, 1101 Vine St. Scranton, PA 18510.
