She was predeceased by: her parents, Gasparo DeGori and Elizabeth Talarico; her siblings, Tomaso, Tony DeGori and Pina Veschio; and her grandmother Maria.

She is survived by: her husband Francesco Mauro; her children, Tadeu Mauro (Kris) and Rosa Mirando (Sal); and her grandchildren, Nicole Mirando, Samantha Mauro and Ashley Mauro.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Maria's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://stjude.org, a cause close to their hearts.
