He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Peterson and Johan Martin Otteson; his spouse Jean Elizabeth Otteson; and his siblings, Leslie, Norman, Bernard, Harold and Joan.
He is survived by: his children, John Otteson (Diana), Peggy Randolph (Dennis), Nancy Jones (Dana) and Wendy Otteson (Stephen); his grandchildren, Matthew Randolph (Stacie), Jenna David (Samuel), Amy Otteson (Jerri Beckwith), Zachary Otteson (Adeah), Heidi Sasso (John), Mitchell Jones (Heather Augustyn), Nikki Jones (Mason McKenzie), Cherice Kamutzki (Jeremy), Katie Laiso (Alaina Wehmeier) and Ryan Laiso (Britany); and his great grandchildren, Owen, Gavin Randolph, Chay Lynn David, Dylan Laiso, Axton Wilkins, Brody Barton, Nathan, Jess Beckwith, Malachi Otteson, Evie, Jack, Lucy Sasso, Wrenna, Olive Jones, Laine McKenzie and Levi Kamutzki. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (12 Brookside Dr, Danville, PA 17821).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mount Traber Bible Camp in Cooks Brook, Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
