He was predeceased by: his mother Eva M. Wall Pavey; his children, Margaret Ann "Peggy" Pavey and Charles L. Pavey; his father Lester J. Pavey; his stepfather Edward Strnad; and his sister Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon K. McEntire Pavey; and his children, Matthew D. Pavey of Towanda, David G. Pavey Jr. (LaDawna) of Tulsa, OK, Mimi J. Strickland (Dewaine) of Broken Arrow and Tara Roof of Canton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
