He was predeceased by: his parents, James Buster and Cora Mae Staples; and his siblings, Kathleen Thomas, Dennis "Michael" and Lawrence Staples.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Miller; his children, Jennifer Quigley (David) of Delaware, Kiana of Sharon, Sadiya Staples of Sharon and Daniel Staples of Florida; and his siblings, Cora Lee Richardson of Delaware and David Staples (Diana) of New Jersey. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great grandchild.
