He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick A. Bender; and his siblings, Doris Owens and Donald Bender. He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Bender (Clark); his children, Jon F. Bender (Toni) of Hermitage, James M. Bender of Montrose, CO., Betsy A. Bender of Sharon and Janice L. Farmakis (A. J.) of Hermitage; and his grandchildren, Jon M. Bender (Neely), Daniel P. Bender (Amy), Nicholas A. Bender (Alexis), Tricia Bender, Christina Murray (Jon), April Plummer, Jacob Soles and Anna Farmakis. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
