He was predeceased by: his parents, George Long and Assunta Long (Cavicchia); and his sister Elizabeth Budetich. He is survived by: his wife Debra Jean Prample; his children, Patty Mendillo (Justin) and John Long, II (Carey Bacon); his brother George Long (Anita); his brother-in-law Dennis Prample (Ana Rose); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Dylan, Zachary Long, Jackson and Julia Mendillo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
