He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Anderson of Sharon, John Edward Songer (Cathy) of Hermitage, Dennis Songer (Dodi) of Sharpsville, Kevin Songer of Sharon, Daniel Songer of Sharon and Brian Songer (Sharon) of Palmyra; and his siblings, Rosemary Piccirilli of Hermitage and Thomas Songer (Mary Kay) of Erie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
