He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Sr. Cline and Marie Cline (Kelly); his wife Evelyn "Pat" Sample; his daughter Marcia Nelson; and his siblings, Lawrence Cline, Leona Strauss and Hazel Gilliland.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine (Frank Costello) of Sharpsville, PA and Joseph F. Cline (Mary Ann); his sisters, Helen McLaren of Sharon, PA, Marjorie Jones of Hermitage, PA and Shirley Cline of Sharon, PA; his friend Betty Cooper of Vienna, OH; and his stepchildren, Linda Frei (Henry) and Richard Sample (Lynn). He is also survived by four grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
