She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kupiec and Mary Kupiec (Lewandowski); her siblings, John Kupiec, Josephine Rafalowski, Sophie Yeager, Lottie Wiater, Bertha Kross, Irene Martinetti and Mayme Borowski; and her granddaughter Mary Katherine "Katie".
She is survived by: her children, Richard Gewak and Pati Opalka (Ted) of Warren, Ohio; her granddaughters, Elisabeth Kavanaugh (Kevin) of Cohasset, MA and Emily Opalka (Anthony Cornicelli) of West Hollywood, CA; her great grandchildren, Lillian, Kevin and Charlotte Kavanaugh; and her nieces, Beverly Sce (Doug), Barbara Kupiec, Teresa Wiater and Joan Wiater. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
