She was predeceased by: her parents, Oatis P. Surrena Sr and Bessie Collingwood Surrena; and her siblings, Russell Surrena, Ray Surrena, Don Surrena, Jack Surrena, Francis Surrena, Oatis Surrena Jr. and Ruby Surrena.
She is survived by: her husband David Jewell of Kinsman Ohio; her son Bob Bell (Shelia) of Grove City; her granddaughters, Jamie and Jeanie; and her siblings, Mary Brown (Gary) of New Castle, Lillian Schultz of Greenville and Sherrill Surrena.
