She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Lowers and Sarah Lowers (Price); her son John Shearer; and her brothers, Oliver, Allen and Eugene Lowers.
She is survived by: her husband Norman "Baldy" Shearer; her children, Susan Gollner (David), Robert Shearer (Donna) of Hermitage and Larry Shearer of Sharon; and her daughter-in-law Elaine Shearer of Greenville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.
