He was predeceased by: his father Daniel L. Adams; his stepmother Marion Adams (Atwood); and his siblings, Anna Mae Ruggierio, Betty Thomas, Jean Marosy and Lloyd Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Alma Watson; his sons, Bruce Adams (Janet) of Sharon and Douglas Adams (Robin) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Ryan Adams (Alicia), Scott Adams (Nicole), Mark Adams (Elaine) and Michael Adams (Danielle); his great grandchildren, Kendall, Cole, William, Nevaeh and Vidia; and his sister Alice Krauss of Canal Winchester, OH..
