It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald E. Greenawalt (Sharon, Pennsylvania), born in East Brady, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 20, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Greenawalt and Mary Margaret Greenawalt (Duffy); his daughter Lori Greenawalt; and his sister Dixie Guthrie. He is survived by: his wife Violette Gelesky; his daughters, Terry Burger (Martin) of Lackawannock Twp, Ronda Greenawalt of Fallon, NV and Debra McCright (Michael) of Lackawannock Twp; and his grandchildren, Tara Mason (Josh), Amanda Every (Lee), Madeline Sperber (Adam), Jesse Greenawalt-Walker, Cody Greenawalt-Walker (Elisha), Dakota "DJ" Greenawalt-Walker (Leylla) and Cheyenne Rolfe (Dokota). He is also survived by five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Charleston United Methodist Church, 1156 Greenfield Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148 Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service Monday, in Charleston United Methodist Church, Hermitage.
