He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Phillips; his stepchildren, Tyrentni West, Rose Mary Brockman, Joanne Jasper, Robert Norris, Jr. and Camela Davis; and his stepgranddaughter Nautica Davis.

He is survived by: his parent Emmaline Phillips; his wife Rose Marie Thomas; his stepdaughters, Nikkia Thomas of Washington and LeChea Thomas of Sharon; and his grandchildren, Aaliyah Foster, John Foster, LeShon Pinkons, Zenniyah Pinkons, Rondre Johnson, Zeeviah Williams, Roshellia Norris and Freda Norris.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
