He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Berger and Stella E. Berger (Rissmiller); and his brother Daniel G. "Sonny" Berger (June L.). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Berger (Balthaser); his sons, Kevin C. Berger (Angela G.) and Brian D. Berger (Tina L.); his granddaughter Alicia Merkel (Eric); his sons, Dustin Berger (Jessica), Austin Berger and Nathan Hall (Mary); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Sierra and Dylan Merkel; his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Sadie Berger, Nathan Hall, Jr. and Carl; and his sister Barbara A. Mayer (late Donald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
